ABOUT ME

Ever since I was a teenager, I have always been fascinated by the Eternal City's intriguing history and great beauty, and gladly spent hours exploring its old streets and ruins, visiting historic villas and aristocratic palaces, letting it inspire me the way. 

Born and raised in Rome, I have worked as a Guide since 2003 leading tours with private visitors and groups for important tour operators through the beauties of my country and abroad.

I have graduated in Linguistics and Foreign Languages at Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis on the 'Literary works over the historical Roman Carnival', once extremely colourful and one of the traditions of the medieval city.

I have a good knowledge of Latin, whose words are still largely in use in our modern languages, and I often research the etymology of expressions which are a mirror of history and culture.

I have followed University Courses in Archeology, Roman History and Art History having the chance to combine my studies and interests to my profession as a free lance.

I am a Licensed Rome-Vatican-Ostia Guide and a Licensed Tour Director, able to work legally over the national territory and the European Community.

My native language is Italian and I am fluent in English and Spanish.

 One of my favourite Italian words is Volare that means to fly, referring to a physical and mental flight, a journey from a place ad culture into a different world, to come back enriched and different than before. This perfectly matches with the purpose of traveling!
